Tempe, AZ– Beyond Stone Solutions, a leader in natural stone care, is proud to announce the donation of its restoration services to restore the granite POW/MIA monument at Luke Air Force Base (AFB). This contribution is in preparation for the base’s 24-hour vigil – Run/Walk event on September 19 and the Retreat Ceremony at the POW/MIA memorial on September 20, 2024.
After attempting to clean the monument, Luke AFB realized that more extensive restoration was required to ensure the monument looked its best for the upcoming events. They reached out to Beyond Stone Solutions for a quote, and the company responded with an offer to donate the restoration work.
“We were contacted by Luke AFB to provide a quote for restoring the monument before their event. As proud supporters of our military and veterans, we felt this was an important cause we wanted to contribute to. We are honored to donate our services to help preserve this tribute to those who have served,” said Ryan Tonnemacher, General Manager of Beyond Stone Solutions.
This act of generosity marks the beginning of Beyond Stone Solutions' ongoing commitment to supporting military and veterans' memorials. The company has pledged to donate restoration services for at least one monument or memorial each year, with the hope that others in the community will join in supporting this cause through donations of supplies, funds, or services.
