Problem: Outdated Tile

Our clients purchased a home in Scottsdale, AZ with flooring that didn’t suit their style. Although the neutral, earthy tones were appealing, they wanted to update the look of the home.

Some rooms had tile, while other rooms had carpeting, and the family room had a combination of both, as you can see in the BEFORE images. The homeowners wanted the same type of flooring throughout the entire 2,638 square foot home, to seamlessly flow from one room to the next.

In addition, the fireplace, a focal point in a central location in the home, had a fireplace surround that was out of date and detracted from the overall look of the home.

Solution: Old Tile Removed and New Tile Installed

The homeowners selected beautiful 18 X 18 porcelain tiles. We discussed design options with them, and they decided on a diagonal pattern. They also selected neutral stacked stone travertine for the fireplace surround to compliment the tiles.

We removed the old flooring and provided precision tile installation services, as you can see in the AFTER images. The stacked stone fireplace installation really made a huge impact, transforming a mundane space into a cozy retreat.

The homeowners were very pleased with the outcome and plan to call on us when it is time to have their tile and grout professionally cleaned.
