Unsightly Crack, Dirt, and Grime

The officer memorial at Gilbert Police Department’s main station is a place where people remember and celebrate the lives and service of fallen officers. The statue base had a large, unsightly crack and dirt and grime from exposure to the elements had taken a toll on the floor tiles.

Our Granite Repair and Restoration Process

First, we used a special hand tool to create enough space in the crack to hold filler material. We tinted epoxy to blend with the surrounding stone, and used it to fill in the crack. After allowing ample dry time, we honed and polished over the repaired area to create a uniform look with the rest of the polished granite finish. Then, we deep cleaned and sealed the granite, including all the floor tiles.
